Before the performance, Hernan had a conversation with our national promoter, covering the difficulties of promotion, the pressure of press - interviews and photography and live recording for radio. We have a local support act this evening, Hernan was told, because tickets sales are poor and the local act is popular.
And the support - Macnica – were very good. They played to lotsa flashes, and as I was listening to them, watching over a balcony, the cameras came out to include me in the photofest. Vincenzio made our respectful no-photo announcement. An enjoyable performance. The LCG are getting tighter and their playing much stronger.
Once again, no security. Fans were wandering into the backstage area after the show for autographs. Astonishing.
